In an attempt to not clutter my other blog, The Boring Things in Life, with endless posts about movies, I have created this blog for the exclusive topic of movies.

Brooklyn's Finest
This movie was absolutely fantastic. The drama created across three threads of story lines makes for a superb fiesta of movie-watching awesomeness. The actors, the parts, the story, all flow smoothly and left me wanting more. If ever a movie demands a sequel, this one does.
Saw it. Liked it. The characters felt very real. Great acting. It looked fantastic. But... I've probably watched and appreciated "The Wire" and "The Departed" too much, so this felt like a combination of the two in terms of content and plot. Not sure about how a sequel would work. But definitely like Fuqua's films, and "American Gangster" was kind of thin, so this was a great return to form for him.

Fuqua didn't do American Gangster. That was Ridley Scott.
True. I suck.
